At vom Rheinland we strive to breed healthy dogs with sound structure and temperament.

Rheinland Dogs are active partners, on the streets as a Police Dog. As a service dog to the handicap or guide dog to the blind.
At airports as explosive search dogs. In a disaster area as a Search and Rescue Dog.
On the sport field as Schutzhund and Ringsport dogs, AKC competition dogs and in homes across the USA as family dogs.

We do not breed for just show ribbons nor for crazy overdriven individuals that cannot be lived with.

So, if you're looking for such a dog, you're in the wrong place.

If you are looking for a German Shepherd Dog that is healthy, confident and smart and has been bred to do just

vom Rheinland is the first kennel in the USA to produce a Brevet Ring Sport Champion and a National Universal Champion.



vom Rheinland is a small hobby kennel, established in 1994 with our foundation female V- Eva vom Haus Bachfeld SchH1 KKL1 ,pictured on the left was purchase as a pup and trained titled by Pia Blackwell .

Almost 30 years later she still is part of our line


Eva is the dam of Service Dog Andreas vom Rheinland , North American Brevet Ringsport Champion Byron vom Rheinland and


Regional and National Universal Champion Manta vom Rheinland .



Due to the fact we are just a small hobby kennel in our home and not a business store.

We kindly ask to call us for an appointment to see the dogs.

WE recently had unannounced person who left upset because we informed them that they could not visit that day.
